Mid-century Lounge Chair

Our neighbor, Ryan, brought us this mid-century lounge chair broken and in rags. He obliviously knew what he had, and knew it's finished potential. So, he asked us to use a black tweed, and to restore his feeble chair. This peculiar piece is right up our alley, and we also knew that it would be beautiful once it was finished. So, we got to it. It was a very interesting and even challenging experience figuring out this uniquely designed chair. We are very proud of it's outcome. Here it is, in it's restoration transformation:

Wooden Antique Chair

This beautiful piece was a collaboration with our friends over at The Wood Spa (Upland, CA). They refinished the chair and applied the caning to it as well. We–here at Stylon–upholstered it with this fine espresso green leather we ordered from our friends over at Danfield, Inc. (Commerce, CA). Here's the outcome:
